Long-term growth and partnership

After 20 years of professional experience at Philps, Ali Ramiz Yerlikaya and Mehmet Sahin founded one Rapair shop for radios in Istanbul / Turkey. In the 80s the main focus of the repair shop shifted more and more towards Television.

Due to the military coup in Turkey in the 1980s, the sources for component procurement was becoming increasingly difficult. At the beginning it was possible to secure the components supply from Singapore, but it was no long-term supply option due to the political conditions.

The demand for components increased continuously and so the Repair company developed over the years to a sales company of electronic components and so the company Kayadag was founded in 1990 in Karaköy / Istanbul.

The steadily increasing demand for components and almost few sources became the main problem of the company. Thus, in 1994 Osman Sahin was sent to Munich to explore more sources for the Turkish market.

In 1996 Sahin Electronic e.K. (2nd generation), today Sahin Electronic GmbH (3rd generation) was founded.

Sahin Electronic GmbH has more than 70 years of experience. An essential part of the corporate philosophy has been the close personal communication with the customer. On the way from the repair company to a leading global service provider for electronic components. Sahin has a wealth of expertise that is best used in guiding, preparing and executing for the benefits of clients.
